Our Approach
We Advocate Safe Spaces for Healing
From our personal experience we can relate to the silence, stigma, guilt, and shame that comes packaged with domestic violence. We believe every story matters from every survivor and family member, left behind is worthy to be heard, supported, and empowered to assist on their journey to recovery and healing.
STSIDV advocates for individuals and families affected by domestic violence through giving back to our domestic violence community in a variety of ways. From our own personal journey, we can relate to the devastation and forever life changing events that occur. Not only, do you have to pack up and leave with the bare minimum, but you have to start your life over, and in our case it was without our love one.
Whether it is volunteering to donating monetarily, products, goods or services, from individual to collectively, or domestic violence women shelter to other dv organizations, we take pride in being an example in our community services since, 2016. Publicly, we donate out loud when working openly with community for transparency, but we also donate silently to honor and preserve the dignity of individuals/family during their trauma and/or hardship, in realtime.
We know domestic violence can be challenging, not only for individuals and families, but it has an impact on our community and across the globe. So public speaking, creative healing art, and educating our community about domestic violence is another way we use our voice and platform to serve and inspire others.
